Privacy Policy

Inkframe (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates inkframe.app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

Who we are

Inkframe is an independent software product. Contact us at hello@inkframe.app for any privacy-related questions or requests.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to sell and deliver the software:

• Email address — entered at checkout via Stripe. Used solely to email you your license key.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• IP address — logged briefly by Cloudflare (our hosting and CDN provider) for abuse prevention and performance. We do not receive or store it ourselves.

We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not use cookies beyond what Stripe’s embedded checkout requires for the payment flow.

Google Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests a font file, your IP address is sent to Google. If you are in the EU/EEA and this concerns you, you can block fonts.googleapis.com in your browser’s network settings; the site will fall back to system fonts and all functionality will remain.

How we use your data

• License delivery — we send you a single transactional email with your license key immediately after purchase. We do not add you to any marketing list.
• License management — your email is stored alongside your license record (activation count, machine fingerprints) so we can verify and support your license. We use Cloudflare KV for this storage.

Third-party processors

• Stripe (stripe.com) — payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Resend (resend.com) — transactional email delivery of your license key. Resend Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) — CDN, DNS, and Workers hosting. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other party.

Age restriction (COPPA)

Inkframe is professional desktop animation software. You must be at least 13 years old to purchase or use Inkframe. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us their data, email hello@inkframe.app and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights (GDPR — EU/EEA residents)

Our legal basis for processing your email address is performance of a contract (delivering the software you purchased). You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data. Note: deleting your license record deactivates your license.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@inkframe.app. We respond within 30 days.

Your rights (CCPA — California residents)

We do not sell personal information. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what data we hold, request deletion, and opt out of any future sale (we have none). To exercise these rights, email hello@inkframe.app.

Data retention

We keep your email and license record for as long as your license is active. You can request deletion at any time; deleting the record also deactivates the associated license key.

Security

License keys are stored in Cloudflare KV with Ed25519 JWT signing. Payment data never touches our servers. Access to our worker endpoints requires a secret admin token.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with a new “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Inkframe after changes constitutes acceptance.
