Everything in one app

Every tool. Nothing missing.

The same workflow concepts as professional studio software. All of it included. No add-ons, no upsells.

01 Foundation

Timeline & Pegs

The timeline works the way studios do. Peg layers let you parent anything to anything — a character to a camera move, a camera to a shake, a shake to a walk cycle. Rigs behave exactly as intended.

Character Body Peg Arm L Arm R Background Function curve — Position X 15 1015 2025 3035
02 Cinematography

Multiplane Camera

A depth-aware camera that makes scenes feel three-dimensional. Each layer sits at its own Z position. As the camera moves, closer layers parallax faster than distant ones.

Background Z=0 Midground Z=200 Character Z=400 Foreground Z=600 Camera
03 Rigging

Bones & Deformers

Rig a cut-out character once and animate it frame after frame without redrawing. Bone chains with weighted influences, curve deformers for soft-body bends — built for the kind of characters that need to hold up for a whole film.

Bone chain hierarchy — 14 joints, 3 chains
04 Audio

Lip Sync

Import a voice take and Inkframe places the right mouth drawing on the right frame. No manual frame-by-frame key setting. Adjust the mapping, re-run it, done.

AUDIO TRACK MOUTH SHAPES A B M O F L TIMELINE RESULT A B M O A F 24 phonemes mapped · 48 frames · 2 seconds
05 AI Assistant

An AI inside the app.

Inkframe includes an MCP server. Connect your own Claude or any MCP-compatible client on your existing subscription and it can see the canvas, draw strokes, set keyframes, rig characters — using the app's real tools, not a text export.

06 Automation

Scripting API

The same document API the app uses internally, exposed for scripts. Automate batch operations, build custom exporters, or write procedural animation tools. Plain JavaScript, runs inside the app.

const layers = doc. getLayers () for ( const layer of layers) { keyframe (layer, 1, { x: 0 , y: 0 }) } RESULT ✓ Keyframed 7 layers at frame 1 ✓ Added to undo history Completed in 3 ms

Built-in Tutorial

A complete guided walkthrough ships inside the app. It covers every feature from drawing your first frame to lip-syncing a cut-out rig with an AI collaborator. It shows on first launch. You can open it again any time from Help.
